We specialise in flood and coastal risk management. We work closely with the Environment Agency and maritime local authorities needing professional advice and assistance in delivering their flood and coastal defence service.

Our work includes directly managing coast protection and flood defence services; project managing the preparation of shoreline management plans and coastal strategies; preparation of PPG25 flood risk assessments; liaising and consulting other authorities, environmentalists and interested parties; preparation of scheme submissions and project appraisals for technical approval and financial aid for coast protection and flood defence projects.

We have extensive experience of procuring and implementing large schemes to protect coastlines and river frontages; preparation of shoreline managemnet plans and coastal defence strategies, refurbishment of existing attractions, accommodation and visitor facilities; and day-to-day management of defences, beaches and leisure facilities.

We are able to advise and help inland and maritime local authorities on forward planning, how to meet the requirements of the Government's flood and coastal defence High Level Targets and the National Flood and Coastal Defence database (NFCDD) and to interpret the relevant national policy.
